The Murdock Trust is proud to partner with nonprofit organizations all across the Pacific Northwest serving unique and diverse constituencies. Recently, two grantees were in the news announcing Murdock awards.
#"The Boy Scouts of America Blue Mountain Council recently received a $163,000 grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust of Vancouver, Washington. The grant, to be paid over three years, will fund a new position dedicated to growing the Scouting program in the 12 counties of southeast Washington and northeast Oregon served by the council.”
"Local nonprofit organization HopeWorks has received a $350,000 grant award from The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. The grant supports the development of HopeWorks Station II, a five-story building next door to HopeWorks Station I on Broadway in Everett. The building will break ground in early 2018 and will be home to a workforce development facility with 65 affordable housing units.”
