Reservation Eligibility #

Who can reserve:
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, public entity partners, and tribes located in or with staff located in the Pacific Northwest
- Groups of 35 people or fewer
Approved meeting types:
- Board and leadership meetings
- Staff planning retreats
- Educational programs
- Strategic planning sessions
- Internal meetings for staff and organizational development
- Focused workdays for remote teams
Not available for: fundraisers, galas, holiday parties, political events, ticketed events, or social gatherings
Hours: All days of the week including weekends, 8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m, subject to availability. We ask that all activities including arrival, room setup, your meeting, cleanup, and departure be completed within your reserved time slot.
Cost: Meeting space remains free during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). After-hours reservations are available at $30/hour for weekday evenings after 5:00 p.m. (2-hour minimum) and weekends (4-hour minimum).
Meeting Spaces #
All rooms are wheelchair accessible with guest Wi-Fi throughout.
6th Floor Community Space #

Space Overview #
The Community Space is our main 6th floor gathering room, fully ADA accessible and designed for flexible configurations, with a built-in lounge area for more relaxed conversation. Attached to this space is a coffee bar, small boardroom for up to 8, and two private offices with monitor and HDMI access. Attached rooms are not available for independent booking when the main space is reserved.

7th Floor Meeting Rooms #
Space Overview #
Cascadia Multipurpose Room: The Cascadia room is our larger 7th floor meeting space, allowing groups up to 35. It includes a whiteboard and a flexible layout.

Denali Boardroom: The Denali room offers a more intimate setting for groups up to 15, with fixed furniture arranged for focused discussion.

Technology #
- Large LCD screen
- Ceiling speakers for audio/video
- AV access via local PC or HDMI (several HDMI adapters are available, but please bring your own if you have them to ensure compatibility)
- Presentation clickers, power strips, and extension cords
- Video conferencing: Available through your preferred platform (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). Guests are responsible for the setup and management of the call.

What to Expect #
Room setup and cleanup: Plan time within Murdock Trust business hours to set up and reset the room as you found it. Download Cleanup Checklist for details.
Food & Beverage: We provide coffee, tea, and water. Self-Serve Beverage Guide for details on the self serve model. You are also welcome to bring pre-prepared pastries, fruit, or snack trays with your own serving utensils, or have catering delivered.
During your meeting: Our staff conducts normal operations during business hours. Please ensure all attendees and guests are aware of the working space and that conversation volumes remain appropriate for an office setting. We ask that guests conduct phone calls only in the designated meeting room reserved, on the balcony, or in the 1st floor lobby (sound travels easily in our office space).
Parking: No reserved spaces or parking reimbursements available. Carpooling is recommended. Parking options include a garage and street parking. Download Parking Map and Directions for more information.

Reservation Request #
Advance notice: Minimum two weeks (earlier preferred). Book up to six months ahead.
Response time: We'll respond within a few business days. As a reminder, submitting the form is a request and not a reservation. Once availability and eligibility is confirmed and the meeting space use agreement is signed and returned, your meeting will be reserved.
